Cynthia Morgan, better known as Madrina, is a Nigerian singer and former dancehall sensation. She has replied to fans’ calls for her to get back in touch with Grammy-winning musician Burna Boy.
Madrina revealed in an Instagram story that she had no intention of contacting Burna Boy, citing unsolved concerns from the past.
When she refused to trust Burna Boy’s denial that he had impregnated Uju Stella in 2016, which he ultimately acknowledged online eight years later, she disclosed that their relationship had soured.
“I wouldn’t ask those of you who are messaging me to get in touch with Burna Boy. I would get in touch if it were me, but I’m sure he’s still upset. I didn’t think he hadn’t gotten Uju Stella pregnant in 2016. The majority of men do it. When you don’t trust them, they lie and get upset,” she wrote.
The singer wished Burna Boy, whose true name is Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu, well and clarified that she has no animosity toward him. Eight years later, he finally acknowledged it online. Leave me alone, you people. Best wishes, Damini,” she continued.
Fans have been talking about Madrina’s admission on social media, with many bringing up the controversy surrounding Uju Stella’s 2016 pregnancy claims.
