Dr Isa Ibrahim Pantami, the Minister of Communications and Digital Economy has stated data and telecommunication services would reduce by 40% btw now and 2025 to attract huge local and Foreign investments and to improve the standard of living for citizens.
He made this declaration while officiating the start of a training on “Digital Skills in news reporting for ICT journalists” in Abuja hosted by NITDA( National Information Technology And Development Agency).
According to Dr Isa, two very critical challenges in the telecommunication industry has been addressed by the FG which is Infrastructural protection and development & (RoW) Right of way.
He also said that the Govt who initiated this process is organising the training to promote digital economy and the standard of living for its citizens., emphasising that the FG is now all about skills and acquisition and not certificates.
