Nigerian musician David Adedeji Adeleke, better known by his stage name Davido, has publicly chastised Mohammed Umar Abba, the commissioner of police for Osun State, for allegedly disobeying the law.
The charge comes after Monday’s violence in Osun State, which claimed the lives of Remi Abass, the ousted chairman of Irewole Local Government, Osun State, and two other people who were shot dead by unidentified gunmen at the local government secretariat in Ikire.
Davido promised to share the police commissioner’s picture “every day and everywhere” on his Instagram page until he is removed from office for breaking the law.
“Mr. Commissioner, please uphold the law! You’re not more insane or crazy than us! Make us all angry, Kuru! MEN GO TO KRF TO MOUNT WALAI! I’ll publish you everywhere every day, dude! The singer wrote, “Try me.”
He stepped up his criticism in a another post, writing, “MAN STEP ASIDE!!!” Go for it! Men, mount! Exactly why are you defying the law? I’ll keep posting about you until they fire you! You believe that you are the only one who is mad? I made a pass.
In addition, Davido called the police commissioner a “disgrace” and vowed to keep criticizing him in public.
“You are a disgrace to your children, Mr. Umar Abba, Osun State Commissioner,” he wrote. Go FUCKER! Together, we all lose our minds! Werey!
