DG , Nig Centre for Disease Control, Dr Chike Ihekweazu wasn’t Quarantined

The Director General, Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, Dr Chike Iheakweazu came on twitter to say he wasn’t quarantined contrary to speculations. He only had to isolate himself for 14 days after his trip to learn how to tackle COVID-19 with china and World Health Organisation.

I am well and have continued my duties from home since my return from China as part of the WHO-China Mission on #COVID19

The rumour that I am sick or in quarantine is obviously false.
