The most recent appearance of Grammy Award-nominated musician Ahmed Ololade, better known by his stage name Asake, has elicited varying reactions from social media users.
On Sunday, the “Terminator” crooner posted a picture of his new appearance on his verified Instagram account.
The artist displays his latest facial tattoos in the photo, which include, among other things, dollar signs and the words “Believe.”
On social media, however, the new tattoos have continued to elicit comments, with many of the singer’s followers expressing displeasure with the updated appearance.
“As a huge fan of Asake who has never seen anything wrong in him since he blew up, I’d just say this new tattoos didn’t enter,” tweeted popular X user @ItsShola in response to the new appearance. They don’t suit him well.
According to @Abdurazaq64, “He is going insane.”
Another user, @it_Rutie, said, “Asake looks like a thief because of his facial tattoo.”
“We don’t have a culture of face tattoos. “What’s going on with Asake fgs?” tweeted @effizzzyy.
“He needs to slow down on those Asake tats; they’re getting too much,” @Guccistarboi wrote.
“What’s up with all the earrings on the ear?” tweeted @ejiro_joshua1. I hope he hasn’t received an Illuminati initiation.
This occurs a few weeks after the “Sungba” hitmaker became popular on X due to rumors that he had a falling out with Olamide, the founder of his record label, YBNL.
Asake’s drastic alterations to his Instagram page sparked the uproar. The crooner had unfollowed everyone, including Olamide, and deleted YBNL from his Instagram bio, according to a review by Tribune Online.
As of the time of this article, Asake and Olamide have not, however, acknowledged or refuted his purported departure from the record label.
