Fubara Tells Opponents That We Will Know Who Is Who When The Time Is Right

Siminalayi Fubara, the governor of Rivers State, has urged his followers to maintain composure in the face of recent political hyperbole from some quarters, promising them that the time for aggressive politicking is still to come.

The people of the state will know “who is who” when the time is right, he said.

Eze Cassidy Ikegbidi, a politician who later became the traditional ruler of the Akoh people in Ahoada East Local Government Area, was installed as king seven years ago, and Governor Fubara was speaking at the event.

“Let’s ignore the noise some people are making,” he remarked. We’ll be able to tell who is who when the time comes.

“We are not achieving all this because of our strength or because we are boasting. It is because our strength is built in God. So, we don’t need to worry about what people are saying. Let the time come, and we will see how it will end”.

The governor credited divine providence for keeping him safe from the political machinations and pointed out that his government is still getting stronger in spite of critics’ predictions.

He emphasized that growth can only flourish in a peaceful setting and urged the people of Akoh to embrace peace.

“The most important thing is that we must ensure we live peacefully. Development cannot come to your kingdom, and development cannot come to the Ekpeye Ethnic Nationality without peace. There will be many attempts to bring disunity among you. Try as much as you can to avoid it”

You are aware of their “Divide and Rule” strategy. Try to stay away from anything that will cause issues in this kingdom so that we can keep demonstrating our love for you by making sure we bring significant projects that will help the Ekpeye people grow.

The traditional leader’s assistance and contributions to the administration’s achievement were also praised by Governor Fubara.

“I’m here in Akoh Kingdom to support one of our own, a man who has chosen to embrace the positive aspects of history. A man who has kept his ground despite suffering punishment as a result of this conflict. I should at least visit his realm and express my support for him.

“The least we can do is make sure we give the people of Akoh and the Ekpeye people the assurance that we are with them, since you have shown so much support at the expense of this kingdom.”

In a show of gratitude, he promptly granted a request for road construction in the area, reaffirming his dedication to good governance and enhancing the quality of life for Rivers State residents.
