On Monday, in Gombe a candidate for WASSCE who tested positive for covid-19 wrote his first paper in the ongoing West African Senior School Certificate Examination from an isolation centre.
This was disclosed via Twitter by the Gombe State Public Health Emergency Operations Centre.
The tweet read:
“Health and education are a priority in Gombe State.
“A final year student of GSSS Gombe tested positive for COVID-19 and was isolated yesterday (Sunday), today (Monday), he is writing Mathematics SSCE while ensuring his invigilator is well protected.”
