Gov Sanwo-Olu To Meet PTF To Explore The Possibility For A Review Of The 10pm To 4am curfew

On Saturday, the Governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu said while briefing the press at the State house at marina that he would be meeting with memebers of the Presidential Task Force next week to explore the possibility for a review of the 10pm to 4am curfew currently in place to restrict movement amid the coronavirus pandemic.

He said:

“The 10pm (to 4am) curfew is still on. It is a national regulation and it was issued by the PTF (Presidential Task Force on Covid-19). We will be having a discussion with the PTF during the week and if we have additional information, we will be passing across.

“This is a decision that was taken by the President himself. It is a national issue, so, the curfew is still on. And we still need to comply with the Federal Government directives.”

Recall that the PTF had on May 4, 2020, imposed a nationwide curfew from 6pm to 8am. It later reviewed the timing to between 10pm and 4am on June 1, 2020.
