Customers of Guaranty Trust Bank (GTBank) have been notified of the impending switch to a more sophisticated Finacle Core Banking Application System.
The bank described the decision in a client message as part of its continuous efforts to improve customer experiences through better technology.
According to the bank, the changeover will start on Friday, October 11, 2024, and all GTBank locations across the country will close early the same day at 12:00 p.m.
According to the statement, branches will be closed throughout the weekend and reopen on Monday, October 14, 2024, at 9:00 a.m.
Customers may also expect brief service interruptions on GTBank’s digital banking systems, including as online and mobile banking, the bank added.
According to the statement, these interruptions would take place between 10:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 13, until 9:00 a.m. on Monday, October 14, 2024.
Customers were informed by GTBank that the upgrade is intended to provide safer and more effective financial services, and they were asked to be patient during the temporary outage.
As it works to provide a more reliable banking experience with the new system in place, the bank thanks its clients for their cooperation and understanding.
