On Monday, while the Minister of the NDDC , Godswill Akpabio was being drilled by the House of Assembly over mismanagement of funds in the commission, he stated that at least 60% of the beneficiaries of the contracts where lawmakers.
However, On Tuesday the house gave Godswill Akpabio a 48 hrs ultimatum to provide the names of the members who got atleast 60% of the NDDC contracts.
Today being the second day in which the Minister of Niger Delta minister Godswill Akpabio is expected to respond with the list of beneficiaries , the Speaker of the House of Reps Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila said that the decision to sue the Minister was made after he defaulted in providing the names of the lawmakers who were beneficiaries of the NDDC contracts.
