Humblesmith Sued By Former Record Label

Ekenedilichukwu Ijemba, better known by his stage name Humblesmith, is a Nigerian afropop recording artist who achieved recognition upon the release of his single titled “Osinachi”.

The artiste who just exited his record label called N-TYZE Entertainment has been sued by the record label.

He was allegedly accused by the Mamagement , Ovie of contract breach, assault and intimidation over a passport “theft” claim.

The MD of N-TYZE Entertainment, is, therefore, demanding a claim of N10m as damages following the alleged harassment and intimidation meted out to him by the officers contracted by the singer.

According to the Mamagements Lawyer, Ovie is by contract mandated to keep the singer’s passport, asking the court to declare the action of the police officers as illegal and unconstitutional.

In a Press statement released by the record label, the singer is reported to still be under the management of the label as his contract is yet to expire.

Pending the determination of the suit, anyone, corporate or individual that engages, transacts and or contract Mr Ijemba Ekenedirichukwu (Humblesmith) to perform does so at their detriment as such act may be caught up in a legal web: Barrister KESHI ELVIS (N-TYZE Entertainment Lawyer)

The suit was filed by the Management of the label against the Afropop singer in an Abeokuta High Court in Ogun state.
