The Traditional ruler of Iboropa-Akoko in Akoko Northeast area of Ondo state, Tinuade Babalola has said she is not expected to date any man or get married during her reign in the kingdom. She made this statement during a question and answer session when she was asked if she is allowed to get married, she said she will remain celibate as it is the custom and tradition of the land, she is not even allowed to have boyfriends. Tinuade became Regent of the land after her Dad passed on as the Regent.
