“If Our Service To Community Was Only Dependent On Whether We Got A Seat In The Government, Then We Don’t Deserve A Seat In The First Place”- Banky W Says

Singer Wellington, better known as Banky W, has said service to the community should not be dependent on being in government.

Banky who was the PDP candidate for the House of Representatives election in the Eti-Osa federal constituency of Lagos State, lost to the Labour Party candidate.

He has now gone on Twitter to state that not getting a seat in government shouldn’t stop one from serving the community.

“If our service to the community was only dependent on whether we got a seat in the government, then we don’t deserve a seat in the first place,” he wrote.
