It Will Keep Raining

The effects of the rain over the weekend will last into the start of the workweek, and more rain is due today and tomorrow.

Because of moisture in the air and low-pressure systems, this rain will not be as heavy as yesterday’s. Light rain showers are happening in the east this morning because of air masses that are full of moisture.

Showers here and there in the late morning and afternoon, with less rain in the west. The day will be mostly dry, with some clearing of the clouds. Clouds and southwest winds that stay between 10 and 15 mph.

The temperatures are between 63°F and 67°F (17°C and 19°C), which is normal for fall.

Tonight, heavier rain and possibly thunderstorms are likely because of more rainwater combining. There won’t be any bad weather, but there could be a few strong storms. Rates of rain: 0.5 to 1.5 inches per hour.

Tomorrow there will be on-again, off-again showers with thunderstorms in the middle. As high pressure rises, it slowly fades by evening. The high will be in the middle 60s, and the low will be in the mid-50s at night.

In the south and east, it will rain between 1 and 2 inches, and in some places it will reach 3 inches. Up to an inch more of rain will fall in Madison and the western regions, with higher amounts in some places.

Differences between regions because of the terrain and the wind patterns. Wednesday should have clear skies with high pressure in charge.

As another low-pressure system moves in, it’s likely to rain on Saturday and Sunday. There is a greater chance of rain, with thunderstorms possible.

Some of the most important weather factors are low-pressure systems, pressure slopes, southwesterly winds, changes in temperature in the fall, and high-pressure systems. This morning, there will be light rain in the eastern parts of the country.

The most rain will fall in the southern and eastern parts of the country. Madison and the western parts of the state will get less rain.

People who commute should expect it to rain in the morning. People who are going to be outside should be ready for rain.

The rain will be good for agriculture. To stay up to date on the weather, check local forecasts, check radar updates, sign up for weather alerts, and follow reliable weather sites.
