Yūko Takeuchi, Japanese actress ha passed on at the age of 40.
The Japanese film and TV star was found dead by her husband actor Taiki Nakabayashi, at their home in Tokyo on Sunday morning.
Although the cause of her death is still unknown, the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department has now launched an investigation.
Confirming the sad news, The actress’ talent agency Stardust Promotion Inc. said of the sad announcement: ‘It came all of a sudden, and we are all stunned and saddened by the news.’
Takeuchi is best known for starring in 1998 horror Ringu, the original Japanese version of The Ring which was later adapted by Hollywood.
