Kendrick Lamar’s subtle (and not-so-subtle) jabs at the Super Bowl halftime show are the last straw in his dispute with Drake.

At the Super Bowl halftime show, Kendrick Lamar made a victory lap one week after taking home five Grammys for his Drake diss song “Not Like Us.”

With a plethora of dancers behind him, Lamar performed a number of new songs off his most recent album, GNX, as well as some previous favorites during the 15-minute set.

Samuel L. Jackson, dressed as Uncle Sam, introduced his act.

Lamar remarked, “You chose the wrong guy at the right time.”

He began playing “Not Like Us,” pausing to remark that “you know they love to sue,” but he’d prefer to play the fan favorite instead. On January 15, Drake sued Universal Music Group, the label to which he and Kendrick Lamar are contracted, claiming that the song was defamatory and harassing.

Toward the conclusion of the two rappers’ diss track exchange last summer, “Not Like Us” was released. Lamar was the winner with the most Grammys and streams.

Lamar’s side of the feud seems to be supported by X users as well. Despite Drake’s immense popularity, many people have turned against him in favor of Lamar.

Lamar played a few songs before coming back to “Not Like Us,” singing, “Say, Drake, I hear you like ’em young,” while staring straight into the camera.

He repeated the line, “tryna strike a chord and it’s probably A minor,” even though he removed the words that accuse Drake of pedophilia. The audience enthusiastically joined in.

He performed “Luther” and “All the Stars” with SZA onstage. She is one of Drake’s ex-girlfriends, although she also regularly works with Lamar. In 2009, the two went on a date.

Serena Williams, a former flame of Drake’s, was also onstage and danced while Lamar played.

Lamar played “TV Off,” one of his most recent tracks that lyrically disparages Drake but wasn’t a part of his back-and-forth dispute.

The lights behind Lamar finally said, “GAME OVER.”
