On Friday, a young lad named Aboh Ogbeche, 32 yrs old is said to have committed suicide in the presence of his mother at his family house in Lawanson area surulere Lagos.
Aboh who never showed signs of anything wrong or signs of planning to take his own life, took his family and friends unawares by his act. It was gathered that he poured bleech in a cup, went to his mother and in her presence drank the whole bleech.
After consuming the substance he started convulsing and his mother who was shocked at his act immediately raised an alarm and he was rushed to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Abor’s friend Airstee Martins shared her thoughts on his facebook page saying
One of his friends, AirsTee Martins, wrote, “Sweet heart, you should have spoken to someone. How could you have thought for a moment that this is the best way. Please, let one try to speak if he is going through a rough time.
“Even if we are far apart, we still connect one way or the other. So, please, no one should feel intimidated with what the other might have achieved. This social media; people develop low self-esteem, get depressed and feel like they are not enough.
“But it should not be so. Let’s try to stay strong because when there is life, there is hope. RIP Ogbeche.”
