Manchester United Agree £42m Fee With Paris St-Germain To Sign Manuel Ugarte

Manchester United have agreed a £42.29m fee with Paris St-Germain for Uruguay midfielder Manuel Ugarte.

This deal also includes a potential for 10m euros (£8.46m) in additional payments.

The English club might soon officially snap their target, who has been on their radar since the transfer window opened.

However, Ugarte’s movement is more dependent on the situation surrounding Scott McTominay, whom Manchester United desire to move to Italian club Napoli.

Sources have reported that Erik Ten Hag has accepted the sale of the Scottish, as he does not guarantee him a spot in the midfield.

Hence, Ugarte would join Manchester United in a deal that the French outfit included a 10% sell-on clause in.

The Uruguayan joined PSG last year and went on to make 37 appearances, winning one French Ligue 1 title within that stint.

Scott McTominay, on the other hand, joined Manchester United since he was a kid and has scored 19 goals in 178 appearances.
