Nigerian music producer, Big Daddy Jayy, born Victor Chijur-Idowu, has been reported dead.

On Saturday the 28-year-old was said to have died of COVID-19 complications.

Friends have taken to various platforms to mourn him.

Some referred to him as the ‘leader of the new school hiphop in Nigeria.’
