Mele Kyari, the Group Chief Executive Officer of the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited, has thanked everyone for their support after his daughter Fatima passed away.
In a statement released on Monday through X, Kyari reflected on her life and said that she hoped to be reunited with her in Jannah by Allah’s favor. She also described her departure as happening at her given time.
By Allah’s grace, my daughter Fatima left at the scheduled time, and I look forward to seeing her in Jannah. Even if the loss is significant by all standards, we are nonetheless thankful for God’s blessings,” he remarked.
Despite her physical limitations, Kyari said that Fatima had impacted the lives of numerous people.
He continued, “I had no idea how deeply she connected with so many people and how much she meant to so many.”
He emphasized how her death had united people, proving that compassion and caring could cut across societal boundaries.
Kyari expressed his sincere gratitude to the family’s leaders, friends, family, coworkers, instructors, and innumerable others who helped them through this trying period.
He provided comfort to the family and thanked everyone who joined in prayers for Fatima’s soul.
“I sincerely thank our leaders, family, friends, associates, colleagues, our teachers, and the innumerable unnamed who joined us in praying for her soul’s rest and for comforting us,” he stated.
