Nigerian Footballer, Osimhen Wins Italian Association’s Footballer Of The Year Award

Nigerian footballer Victor Osimhen has won the Italian Footballers’ Association’s (IFA) Footballer of the Year following a victorious season in Napoli.

This was announced by IFA via its verified page on X with the video of the presentation of the award.

Osimhen scored 26 times during 32 Serie A appearances.

The award was previously awarded to Rafael Leao, Gianluigi Buffon, Cristiano Ronaldo, Andrea Pirlo, and Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

The AIC awards began in 1968 and included several notable accolades, including team of the year, coach of the year, club of the year, and goal of the season.
