Tata Electronics Private Limited (TEPL), a business initiative of the Tata Group, has purchased a 60% share in Pegatron Technology India Private Limited (PTI). According to the corporation run by Noel Tata, it would guarantee a seamless team integration in order to preserve business continuity. In addition to expanding its business to provide exceptional electronic items, the company intends to concentrate on rebranding and organizing its new ownership in the future. With the use of artificial intelligence (AI), digital tools, and the newest technology, the company hopes to grow its operations by utilizing innovation in electronics production.
As to an ET article, Ravindra Thakur, the CEO and MD of the company, claimed that the acquisition would boost the company’s growth by improving its manufacturing strategy and utilizing AI, digital tools, and the newest technologies more.
According to N Chandrasekaran, chairman of the Tata Group, the business plans to invest 418 billion in electronics and semiconductors and establish nine new facilities over the next two years.
Less than a year has passed since the Tata Group acquired Pegatron, which had previously acquired Wistron’s India business in Narsapura, Karnataka, in November 2023.
