The owner of demolished prudent hotel Gogorobari Needam and manager Barilidum Azoroh in Eleme has been sentenced and fined fifty thousand naira, for contravening the state Order on COVID 19.
The senior Magistrate Rita Oguguo who gave the verdict on Monday stated that the defendant violated the order by governor Nysom Wike on closure of hotels in the state.
The court therefore order that Azoroh should be kept under quarantine for the period of 14 days at the isolation center Yakubu Gowon stadium to confirm his COVID 19 status.
