Prince Abimbola Akeem Owoade has been appointed the next Alaafin of Oyo State by Governor Seyi Makinde.
On Friday, the announcement was made.
Speaking on behalf of the governor, Prince Dotun Oyelade, Commissioner for Information and Orientation, stated that Owoade had been suggested by the Oyomesi following extensive deliberations and divinations.
