Nigerian musicians David Adeleke, better known as Davido, and Chibuzor Azubuike, well known as Phyno, were among those who paid a visit to the Olu of Warri palace on Saturday.
The artists were in Warri for the much awaited “Warri AGAIN” event, which was organized by Amaju Pinnick, the former president of the Nigeria Football Federation, along with well-known comedian Ayodeji Makun, also known as AY Makun, and celebrity bartender Cubana Chief Priest.
Cubana Chief Priest posted images and videos of their visit to the palace on Instagram on Saturday in remembrance of the Olu of Warri.
“My first visit to Warri ever. “Our first destination is the magnificent palace of the most elegant, sophisticated, well-groomed, calm, and confident monarch, #oluofwarri OGIANE,” he wrote.
After a split between Davido and Pinnick in October 2023—during which Pinnick accused Davido of not honoring his performance commitments at the 19th iteration of the “Warri Again” concert despite having received the desired fees—the “Warri Again” event is set for this Saturday night.
According to reports, the parties came to a mutual decision in March 2024 to settle the dispute out of court.
