Portable Claims, “I’m A Crazy Man Getting Treatment At Ogun Psychiatric Hospital.”

Habeeb Okikiola, better known by his stage name Portable, has proclaimed himself insane and is receiving treatment at the Federal Neuropsychiatric Hospital in Aro, Abeokuta.

After being listed as wanted by the state police command on Tuesday, Portable made this plea to Nigerians and the Ogun State Government.

Three officials from the Ogun State Ministry of Physical Planning and Urban Development, Ota Zonal Office—TPL Onabanjo Abidemi, TPL Raymond Lateef, and TPL Ridwan Oyero Akinlesi—reportedly got into a brawl with the zazoo-zeh crooner. They were at Oke-Osa, Tigbo Ilu Ota, Ogun State, performing an enforcement activity.

At the nearby Odogwu Bar, the town planners reported that they ran into an elderly man who they subsequently learned was Portable’s father.

The father told them that his son was not accessible when they identified themselves and asked for the authorized building design.

But a few seconds later, Portable led a group of nine thugs in a bloody assault on the unarmed officials while brandishing a gun and other weapons.

Despite suffering several injuries, the cops were able to flee and reported the event to the Ota Area Command, which then forwarded the case to the State Criminal Investigation Department for additional action, according to the police.

“Portable ran away from the scene and has since gone into hiding, but nine accomplices were arrested.”

But in response to the announcement, Portable posted a series of tirades on Instagram on Tuesday, pleading with Nigerians and state governor Dapo Abiodun, claiming that he was set up because he was wearing a vest featuring the image of Senator Adeola Solomon, also known as Yayi on it.

The singer added that he was insane and that he typically receives therapy at Aro Hospital, where he has a card.

“I fear government,” he remarked. I am a liability to the federal government. Then I’m crazy; I generally take some medication. Aro Hospital can provide confirmation. I am officially recognized as one of their patients by my card.

“They are looking after me in Abeokuta, where I’m from. I aid everyone around me without even considering their past; I am not a thief.
