R kelly cries About Prison Food After He was Told To Work Out
R Kelly is using corona-virus pandemic as an excuse, because his third request for prison release was denied and he’s being told to work out.
R Kelly’s lawyer claimed that the singer is “likely diabetic” and could be at risk of death should he become infected with COVID-19.
R Kelly’s lawyer claims the singer has high cholesterol and high blood pressure, so R Kelly is in a vulnerable position if he contracts the deadly corona-virus while penned up at MCC Chicago.
But prosecutors suggested that he simply work out, he’s now complaining about the food available at the prison commissary, The Blast reports. In court documents, he explained that he visited a doctor inside of prison at the beginning of May but prior to that, the physician suggested that he cuts down unhealthy foods from his diet and to work out more.
The doctor doubled down on the suggestions during his recent visit, telling Kelly to use loose weights and take vitamins.
The prosecutors have responded in documents, writing, “the defendant has been seen by Clinical Director Brij Mohan, M.D., almost monthly and has also been seen multiple times by registered nurses this year as well.”
Prosecutors also noted that he’s not diagnosed with any chronic illness nor does he take any medication for chronic issues. They said that Kelly has simply “complained that he can’t exercise in the small room and “he can’t have the diet he needs or wants” with the food available at the commissary.
