Reps. Order Apelegun, The Toss of The Tricycle Company, To Be Arrested For Theft And Abuse Of Office

Shamsudeen Adebayo Apelegun, the National Chairman of the Tricycle Association of Nigeria, has been arrested by the House of Representatives Committee on Public Petitions because he did not show up to answer charges of mismanagement of public funds and abuse of office. Apelegun has been called more than five times, but he has always avoided the calls, which is why the committee had to take this extreme action. The arrest order, which was approved by all members, tells the Inspector General of Police to catch Apelegun and bring him to the December 3 meeting of the committee.

The following decision was made after a petition was sent in by the law company I.M. Iliyasu and Co. on behalf of members of the Tricycle Association who said Apelegun stole money meant for the group and did other bad things that hurt the group’s finances. The committee made it clear that its job is to protect Nigerians’ well-being. Not showing up to a court was seen as breaking the law and getting in the way of the investigation.

Mike Etaba, who is in charge of the group, was angry that Apelegun didn’t care about following the law and told him that this kind of behavior would not be accepted. As well, the committee said that the investigation is very important for dealing with the complaints of the association’s members, who say that Apelegun’s alleged wrongdoing hurt them.

In addition to ordering Apelegun to be arrested, the committee has also told the management of Lagos-based Prima Factory, a business that makes plastic products, to follow the same steps. The plant that makes plastic preforms and caps has been accused of not taking care of Rafiu Taiwo, an employee who got hurt on the job. It is said that the company has not provided appropriate medical care or compensation for Taiwo’s injury, leaving the injured worker in a tough situation.

The committee has told the people in charge of the workplace to come in and explain what they did. The committee has told them that legal action will be taken if they don’t show up to the hearing or give a good reason for how they handled the case. Prima Factory is a foreign-owned company, which makes the case even more interesting. This shows how determined the committee is to protect workers’ rights and hold companies accountable, no matter where the company comes from.

Both of these cases show how serious the committee is about making sure that everyone and every business in Nigeria follows the country’s laws and morals. The committee’s actions show that it is always dedicated to being open and protecting people’s rights, especially when it comes to cases of financial fraud and violations at work. It also serves as a warning that people in charge or in charge of something are not above the law and must be held responsible for what they do.
