Residents In The South East Heed IPOB’s Sit-At-Home Directive (photos)

Many streets in the South-East states are now desolate as a result of the Indigenous Peoples of Biafra IPOB’s sit-at-home edict. The directive calls for two days of remembrance to commemorate Biafra Day.

Last Monday, several state governments and security agencies urged citizens to disregard the order and continue about their normal business. The citizens, on the other hand, rejected the assurances of both the government and the security officers and chose to remain in their houses.

Markets, banks, car parks, and other business establishments, including schools and government buildings, are all locked up.
