Saul Fletcher, 52 who is a friend to Brad Pitt was a self- taught photographer and artiste who had been living In Germany for the past 20 years.
It was gathered that Fletcher stabbed his partner to death and called his daughter to inform her that he stabbed her mum.
However, the daughter raised an alarm at about 11:15pm. Police upon getting to his apartment found the 53 year old woman dead from stab wounds.
Saul, who fled from the scene was found hours later in a holiday home he owned near Rochowsee lake in Brandenburg . Brandenburg police have said there is no evidence of anyone else being involved in the double death.
Detectives have launched an investigation to establish the exact circumstances of the apparent murder- suicide.
