A British soldier has been found dead at the country’s largest military base.
The British Army confirmed that a soldier passed away on Saturday at Catterick Garrison in North Yorkshire. But his name, rank, or regiment wasn’t revealed.
In a statement, an Army spokesperson said: ‘We can confirm the death of a soldier on February 5, 2022.

According to the reports, Catterick Garrison is the largest military base in Britain and is home to 13,000 Armed Forces personnel from several units including the 1st Battalion the Yorkshire Regiment, and the Royal Lancers.
The death of the soldier is not the first to have occurred at the barracks. Lance Corporal Ryan MacKenzie was found unresponsive in his bathroom at Munster Barracks in August.
