Super Eagles Squad Receives Warm Welcome As They Return To Nigeria After AFCON Final Defeat

The Super Eagles squad has returned home after playing in the final of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations in Ivory Coast. 

Nigeria lost 2-1 to Ivory Coast in the final, settling for the silver medal on Sunday, February 11.

On Wednesday morning, February 13, the squad received a heroic welcome as they arrived at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, led by the Honourable Minister of Sports Development, Senator John Owan Enoh, and NFF President Ibrahim Musa Gusau.
