The Supreme Court has dismissed the application filed before it by former Imo state governor, Emeka Ihedioha.
Ihedioha and his party, PDP, approached the apex court, seeking for a review of the January 14th judgement that sacked him from office and instated Hope Uzodinma as governor of Imo state.
In a ruling delivered this afternoon, a panel of judges led by the Chief Justice of Nigeria, Justice Ibrahim Muhammad Tanko, dismissed the application on grounds that it lacked merit.
However, one of the judges out of the seven-man panel, Chima Chiweze, disagreed with the judgement.
