The Legon Botanical Garden will close permanently on October 30, 2024, according to a statement by Mulch Company Limited.
On Friday, October 11, the Dutch firm announced the announcement, which has led to a variety of inquiries on X, the old Twitter.
But the cause of the stoppage remained a secret.
“On October 30, 2024, the Legon Botanical Gardens will close. We think that over the years, we have been able to brighten the smiles of vast numbers of people. A chapter was Legon Botanical Gardens. “Follow Mulch Company Ltd.” was the message posted.
Mulch and the University of Ghana have maintained a public-private partnership (PPP) over the years to manage the garden.
The gardens were turned into a top-notch ecopark under the management of Mulch Company, which is adored by both locals and tourists from other countries.
