President Bola Tinubu has approved six months free ride on the Abuja Rail Mass Transit for residents of the nation’s capital.
The declaration was made on Wednesday by Tinubu when he inaugurated the rehabilitated Abuja metro rail in Abuja.
Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, had announced free train rides for two months earlier.
President Tinubu said, “Our dear landlord and his team, I heard you saying two months free ride. I appeal to you to make it till the end of the year. Since today you are not going to charge me, that will give the people hope and reasons to celebrate.”
