Vulcaniser allegedly stole costumer underwear for ritual.

Dele Ope , a 22-year-old vulcaniser,  allegedly stole a female costumer panties at her home in Ogun state. He has been arrested by the Ogun police department.

Spokesperson , Abimbola Oyeyemi said in a statement: The lady called the young vulcaniser to help fix her car tyre in her home, and after the tyres were fixed, she realised that her panties hung on the rope in the compound was missing. And since Ope was the only one who came into the compound, she immediately initiated a search for him;

“Since the vulcanizer was the only person, who came into the compound, she went round in search of him, but he was nowhere to be found,” she also said that the lady reported the incident at the Warewa Police Division. 

SP Folake Afeniforo, the Divisional Police Officer, detailed some officers to go in search of the vulcaniser. They searched his house house and the lady’s panties was found there.

The spokesperson said “On interrogation, the suspect confessed to stealing the underwear with the intention of taking it to a herbalist for a money-making ritual,”

CP Kenneth Ebrimson, Ogun commissioner of police directed that Ope be charged to court, once investigations are concluded.
