When VeryDarkMan Posts A Second Purported Call Audio Of Bobrisky, Nigerians Respond.

Nigerians have reacted on social media to the most recent call recording leak, which purports to include the notorious transgender person Idris Okuneye, better known by his stage name Bobrisky.

Following the release of an alleged call tape by social media influencer Martins Otse, alias VeryDarkMan, Bobrisky was embroiled in yet another scandal on Monday.

VeryDarkMan claims that the tape was created on May 16, 2024, and that it is not an extension of an earlier recording that he uploaded.

Among other things, Bobrisky allegedly stated on the recording—which VeryDarkMan claims is a different discussion from an earlier leak tap—that he was not incarcerated but rather that he was living in a nicely furnished apartment close to the prison.

Social media users have responded to the leaked recording in a variety of ways; many Nigerians have expressed amazement, disappointment, and doubts about the recording’s veracity.

“Only small star Maggi person steal them luck am for prison imagine Bobrisky with money laundering case no go prison,” UGo tweeted as #Oforma19 on X, the previous Twitter.

Wills Media tweeted, “Those that Bobrisky trusted are even his worst enemies,” under the handle #WillsMedia247. Although it’s unfortunate that he had creatures, he felt he had pals. For what cause will a reliable friend bring his friend down?

“If all the money in his/her account is legitimate, Aza man/woman, he/she will tell us why he/she gave EFCC some money to drop the money laundering charges,” tweeted #fm57661959.

“This guy sees every call note, shey they don’t plan say them go koba bob ni abi, why do all of them record their conversations with him, sorry her,” tweeted #AdeyemiOladip14.

Olawale tweeted as #WealthyWave04, writing, “If they don’t swear for a lot of people in this country, how can people who witness or hear this degree of corruption continue to accuse or condemn those who brought about the corruption because they don’t like the person? How absurd. We are going to cry out tomorrow for a better Nigeria. Do you want to improve Nigeria by acting in this way, Una? E is not suited for work.

#real___barlow commented on VeryDarkMan’s Instagram post, saying, “Bob risky no get better friends at all abi who drop this record again?”

“Why bring it here for us to see and hear if you have enough proof?” asked #okoruwamiracle. Even if you do, don’t you know that bringing it up on social media is and always will be an allegation, therefore take them to court and we’ll decide the case for you? Inform the police, bring them before the judge with your evidence.

“You know, forget about saying that Bob had that kind of life. This VDM should simply relax and go. This Bob you are dragging was incarcerated for a weightless crime—one that over ninety percent of Nigerians have committed. Would you mind beginning with the events of the 2023 election? Put this Bob issue behind you; all you’re doing is acting as though they weren’t sent to prison as you were.

Remember how VeryDarkMan released an alleged tape of Bobrisky in September? It purportedly showed him bribing officers of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission with N15 million to drop the money laundering accusation against him.

VeryDarkMan stated that Bobrisky owed someone money, and that person gave him the audio tape.

However, Bobrisky asserted that he had served his jail sentence and denied having paid any EFCC officer to drop the money laundering accusations against him.

In addition, he had called out the original audio recording that went viral, emphasizing that the assertion that he had never been incarcerated was untrue and ought to be disregarded.
