On Monday, June 22nd, Nigeria’s leading party, the All Progressives Congress, National Working Committee, swore in the former Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice in Rivers state, Mr. Worgu Boms to replace, Victor Giadom, the suspended Deputy National Secretary of the party(APC).
The former Attorney General is said to replace Victor Gaidom after he resigned his position from the governorship ambition to run against Tonye Cole, in the 2019 election, when he declared himself acting chairman of the All Progressive Congress. His decision allegedly happened after Oshiomole’s was suspended by the party.
Even after APC members in Rivers state announced the suspension of the acting chairman, Hon.chief Victor Giadom, he is still insisting that; that he is the acting chairman of the APC party.
