Worshippers Injured After Truck Rams Into Mosque In Niger State

On Tuesday, April 11, three people are said to have been trapped inside a mosque that was rammed into by a trailer loaded with powdered milk at Biba Road, Suleja, Niger State.

It was gathered that the worshippers had finished their morning prayers and were leaving when the trailer rammed into the mosque. The trailer was said to have been trying to negotiate a narrow part of the road blocked by a heap of sand being used for the construction of new shops when it rammed into the mosque.

Three persons including a child were trapped in the ruins and subsequently sustained injuries.

According to the reports, no life was lost in the incident. The injured persons have been taken to the hospital where they are receiving medical attention.
