Yobe College Of Education Provost Dies At 53

Dr Mohammad Gishiwa, Provost, Umar Suleiman College of Education, Gashua, is dead.

Gishiwa, 53, died on Sunday while receiving treatment at a private hospital in Kano, following injuries sustained in a car accident on Oct. 4.

On Monday Mr Hassan Bulama, Deputy Provost of the college, confirmed the death to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Damaturu.

Also, Alhaji Ali Gishiwa, a brother to the deceased, said that arrangements were on to convey the remains of the decease to Gashua for burial.

Bulama said that the deceased would be buried at about 2:00 pm in Gashua.
