On Thursday night, Hon Musa Mante Baraza, a member of the Bauchi State House of Assembly representing Dass constituency was killed by unknown gunmen who raided his house in Dass.
DSP Ahmed Wakili, the Command’s Police Public Relations Officer ( PPRO) confirmed the incident saying that the aim of the gunmen is yet to be ascertained as the stormed his residence killing him and abducting two of his wives and a one-year-old baby.
He however said that a crack team of Police personnel led by the Dass Divisional Police Officer have mobilised to the area to commence immediate investigation to be able to track down the gunmen.
