Eiffel Tower Evacuated For Two Hours Following A Bomb Scare

On Wednesday, the Police reported that the Eiffel Tower was evacuated for two hours at about 12:15pm after a phone call was received by an unknown man who shouted ” Allah Akbar” and said he said he was going to ‘blow up everything”.

In a statement released by Its operator SETE, said that after a thorough search nothing was found and the tower was able to reopen at 2:15 pm.

The monument had reopened on June 26 after its longest closure since World War II forced by the coronavirus pandemic.
