Flood carries off four-year-old baby in Lagos

Flood from the incessant early morning rain in Lagos has been reported to have carried off a four-year-old baby today. The incident which occurred at Olabode street, Asafa, Orile-Agege as beiing brought to the knowledge of the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency, LASEMA who are currently in search of the vicinity for the child.

According to the eyewitness at the scene of the incident, the baby was carried away by the flood at about 10 am during the rain. The Director-general of LASEMA, Dr. Femi Oke-Osanyintolu has confirmed the incident and said that the agency was informed of the situation by a witness and that rescue operation is going on at full force.
