Both Nigeria and Germany had lost their first games since the official commencement of the Tokyo 2020 Olympics and were looking forward to obtaining victory last night.
The match was a well fought one, considering the score was tied 50-50 by half time and 74-74 by the third quarter, and was still extremely close till Germany finally managed to pull away and won the game with a score of 99-92.
