Following the departure of Thomas Tuchel on Wednesday morning, Chelsea FC has struck a verbal agreement to appoint Graham Potter as their new manager.
According to the reports, Graham Potter arrived at Stamford Bridge on Thursday ahead of his appointment as Chelsea’s new head coach.
The Chelsea administration and Potter’s representatives reportedly held talks to finalize some of the crucial terms of the contract.
It was also said that paperwork is already being prepared, and it will soon be Potter’s turn to sign the agreement and make official announcements as the new Chelsea first-team coach.
Potter, 47, began his managerial career in 2011 with Swedish club Ostersund FK, guiding them to the top flight before moving on to Swansea City and where he helped them reach the Sky Bet Championship.
He took over as Brighton’s manager in 2019 and guided the Seagulls to their best Premier League finish.
