The Lagos State Environmental Protection Agency has closed two establishments, Wine Library and Buzz Bar, in Victoria Island for noise and environmental violations.
According to LASEPA, the action was ordered by the Lagos State Commissioner, Ministry of the Environment and Water Resources, Tokunbo Wahab.
The statement read, “In a determined effort to combat noise pollution and address environmental violations, LASEPA has taken decisive action,” the statement read.
“We hereby announce the sealing off of two establishments, Wine Library and Buzz Bar, both situated in Victoria Island, Lagos.
“This directive was issued by the Honorable Commissioner for Environment and Water Resources.”
