The Director-General, Chikwe Ihekweazu of the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC),has averred that some states are not conducting enough COVID-19 tests.
He said this at the presidential task force briefing on COVID-19 on Thursday December 10.the states he listed that are not conducting enough tests include Cross River, Jigawa, Kogi, Osun, Ebonyi, Adamawa and Zamfara.
He said;
“It is important to test, to manage the outbreak and plan for vaccination.
“The numbers are not looking good and we need to take this very seriously as we plan for the end of the year.”
