A man in Kenya’s Nandi County killed his wife and three children and then surrendered to the Kipkaren Salient police station.
According to the newsmen, the incident occurred Wednesday night amid a marital argument between the couple.
The 40-year-old Philip Lokuruen confessed to killing his wife, Rispa Chelimo, who was 35 at the time of her death, and their three children, Ian Kipkosgei, 11, Brenda Cheruto, 9, and Linus Kipkosgei, 7.
It was gathered that Eunice Luley, the Area Chief of Nandi County, was the first eyewitness at the crime scene on Wednesday, April 6.
She stated that the bodies had been taken to a hospital mortuary and will be subjected to a post-mortem examination.
Although the motive for the homicide has yet to be determined, authorities have launched a detailed investigation into the heinous incident that has shocked the entire town.
At the time of reporting this article, the police had not published a statement regarding their investigation.
