TETFund To Promote Journal Accessible Diplomatic Education.

The Association of Retired Career Ambassadors of Nigeria (ARCAN) Foreign Policy Journals will be made available to TETFund beneficiary institutions that offer courses in international relations and allied fields, according to a commitment made by Arc. Sonny Echono, Executive Secretary of the Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFund).

According to Echono, the action is intended to improve students’ research skills and academic experience in these areas.
As part of the festivities commemorating Nigeria’s 64th anniversary of independence, Echono made this statement while addressing at the Association of Retired Career Ambassadors of Nigeria (ARCAN) 2024 Annual Foreign Policy Lecture in Abuja.

While pledging the TETFund’s support for their foreign policy publication, he praised the contributions made by Nigerian diplomats to the creation of curricula for careers in diplomacy and international relations.

Additionally, he conveyed his gratitude to association members for their professional foreign policy magazine, which has helped to advance education and serve the country.

“I am especially happy that ARCAN reached out to invite us to participate in this event. It also highlights our cooperation in making sure that all departments of Political Science and International Relations, as well as all students hoping to pursue careers in Diplomacy or Foreign Service, have access to high-caliber journals and publications.

He promised, “That is why we are going to make sure every institution gets copies of this journal and subscribes to it through TETFund’s Journal Intervention.”

Additionally, Echono announced that users would have access to digital versions of the magazine via the Tertiary Education Research, Applications and Services (TERAS) platform, which is run by TETFund.
