The major rice producing area of Adamawa State called Tingno Community in Lamurde Local Government of Adamawa State have urged the government to please provide access road for the community to easily move farm produce as the poor state of the road is exposing them to difficulties.
According to Richard Angelo, the Village head:
” Tingno and its environs are the largest centres of paddy rice production in Adamawa and Northeast “
” We cultivated rice during rain -fed and dry season activities. Dozens of trucks of paddy are transported from Tingno to other parts of the country as well as Chad and Cameroon republics”
” Our major challenge is lack of access road to link Tingno to Lafiaji and adjourning communities”
